He Gives Freedom

My sin is not greater

My gifts are not lesser

Than all those who

have gone before

Equal in measure

For the standard of Christ

Is the only judgement

That matters any more

Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

James 2: 12-13

12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the Law that gives freedom. 13 For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Baggage

Leave your bag at the door

Leave your burdens

All you carried here

Think of them no more

Tomorrow when you come again

Leave it at the door

And when you leave

You may pick it up once more

My hope for you one day

As you’re treading back and forth

Is that you see it’s not required

To carry your bag from door to door

A Cross to Bear

The trial I want You to remove

Is the one You’re asking me to face

The longing I’m trying to fill

You want to suffice by Your grace

I see You up ahead

Asking me to carry my cross

Telling me Your burden is light

And Your joy surpasses all loss

Matthew 11:28-30

28“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
