Baggage

Poetry

Leave your bag at the door

Leave your burdens

All you carried here

Think of them no more

Tomorrow when you come again

Leave it at the door

And when you leave

You may pick it up once more

My hope for you one day

As you’re treading back and forth

Is that you see it’s not required

To carry your bag from door to door

Stronger

Poetry

I no longer have to apologize

To the world for my every mistake

And seeing where I’ve gone wrong

No longer causes me to break

I don’t like it and I’d rather be perfect

But I’ve yet to find one who is

Thank the Lord He is gracious

That He sees, knows and forgives

Guilt and fear are getting weaker

While strength is taking their place

It’s not Your will to live in shame

But to walk in confidence and grace
