Tears

My tears are released when I sleep

To let go of the pain of yesterday

And make room for a new tomorrow

My tears are released when I sleep

To wash away the deeper hurts

And rid today of yesteryear’s sorrow

Psalm 56:8
You keep track of all my sorrows.. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have recorded each one in your book.

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.
Tear drops oh tear drops

You carry the pain away

With each new drop, a memory

Slowly fading away

Poetry

Sentencing

I am in the throws of judgement

Lord have mercy

I feel their glares, their fiery eyes

Their pity stares as they pass me by

I’m sure I’m deserving of plenty pain

But I’ll ask you be merciful

Open this road, let me go on my way

I’m ready for brand new again

I’ve over worn my stay

I’m letting it all go

It was never mine anyway.
